Mutual aid is an act of resistance that threatens the dominant systems’ need for our dependence. “Project Bayard” and similar actions of collective care can deconstruct hierarchical relationships and challenge our cultural history of colonization and capitalization. This is why we are raising funds for BIPOC LGBTQIA+ individuals facing financial and structural hardships. 100% of Project Bayard funds raised this November will be redistributed in December.
